Caitlyn Jenner steps out in skinny jeans & knee high boots
Caitlyn Jenner has made her first public appearance since her Vanity Fair cover was unveiled last week.
The 65-year-old former Olympian was pictured arriving at the Los Angeles LGBT Youth Center on Wednesday to discuss her recent experiences of making the transition from Bruce to Caitlyn.
Looking comfortable in her skin, the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star was stylish as she stepped out in a low-key ensemble of knee-high leather boots and form-fitting jeans....
Happy: The former Olympian, 65, appeared comfortable in her skin as she clutched a coffee and showed off her red manicure ahead of her motivational speech at the venue
Caitlyn kept a low-profile as she arrived at the center, sheltering herself from the rain with a large black umbrella.
The parent-of-six teamed her faded jeans, which were tucked into her boots, with a simple black top.
The former spouse of Kris Jenner held a cup of coffee in her hand and displayed her perfectly polished red manicure.
She wore natural make-up and accessorized with diamond stud earrings, a stone charm bracelet and a leather shoulder bag by Elisabeth Weinstock Tokyo, which she wore across her chest.
Decades before Caitlyn, her former identity Bruce made the career change from professional athlete to motivational speaker, after winning the gold medal at the 1976 Olympic Games.
Jenner was earning over $40,000 for various speaking tours and garnered an estimated net worth of $100 million, according to Celebrity Net Worth and The Richest.
'If Bruce Jenner made $100 million in 65 years, Caitlyn could be worth over $500 million in the next five to ten years,' Rob Shuter, host of VH1's The Gossip Table predicted.
Earlier in the week, Caitlyn made sure to express her gratitude to her plastic surgeon by gifting Dr. Harrison H. Lee, with a personalised copy of her iconic Vanity Fair feature.
'To Harrison, Great Job Thank you so much Caitlyn Jenner,' she penned on the cover of one of the glossy magazines.
Meanwhile, Caitlyn's teaser for her new show revealed her putting on makeup and telling viewers: 'I'm the new normal'.
E!, which will premiere the series on July 26, shared the first trailer for the eight-part documentary series on Wednesday morning last week
'Isn't it great that someday you'll be normal - just blend into society?' Jenner muses during the snippet. 'Put it this way: I'm the new normal.'
In other scenes, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star could be seen applying makeup while wearing a robe.
'You start learning the kind of the pressure that women are under all the time about their appearance,' she says as she applies makeup. 'A couple of weeks ago, actually a professional came in and did my makeup. What a difference!'
In the clip, which shows her chatting with her daughters, she also reflects on the impact she could have by being honest about herself.
'Maybe this is my greatest calling in my life,' she says. 'Be honest with myself, be honest with my family - maybe end up helping other people.'
She adds: 'So many people go through life and they never deal with their own issues. How many people go through life and waste their entire life because they never deal with themselves, who they are?'
On June 1, she also launched a new Twitter page, which reached a million followers in just four hours - beating President Obama to set a new world record.
'I'm so happy after such a long struggle to be living my true self,' she wrote on the page. 'Welcome to the world Caitlyn. Can't wait for you to get to know her/me.'
Today, Caitlyn posted a message of support to her son Burt, writing: 'Shout-out to my son @burtjenner congrats on a great weekend competing at #XGames So proud of you Burt.'
Jenner came out as transgender during a two-hour tell-all interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC News in April amid speculation that she was transitioning.
'For all intents and purposes, I am a woman,' she said in the interview, which was watched by more than 17.1 million people. 'My heart and my soul and all I do in life, that is part of me.'
