DMX Sentenced to Six Months in Jail

The last we got notification from unpredictable rap legend DMX, genuine name Earl Simmons, he was being blamed for ransacking somebody at gunpoint at a service station in Newark. Nothing ever happened to that, yet now he's simply been sentenced to six months in Buffalo, NY's Erie County Holding Center, for inconsequential reasons. As per Buffalo's WIVB News 4, Family Court Judge Deanne Trippi gave the sentence down for inability to consent to an obscure past court request, likely identified with kid support. As Billboard reports, the 44-year-old rapper was captured a month ago in New York City just before an execution at Radio City Music Hall, and a representative for the New York City Sheriff's Department told WPIX-TV at the time that DMX had $400,000 worth of unpaid youngster backing and a warrant issued by the city of White Plains for safeguard bouncing.
