Her son Tony Sellers was shocked that his mother was away when he came over to visit her, saying, "99 times out of 100 she's in the room."
The retired civil servant and great-grandmother didn't need her son's permission — or anyone's!
Sadie Sellers said she didn't “f***ing care” what her family thought about her decision to get inked.
After a long search, Tony Sellers caught up with his mom at the tattoo parlor and was shocked at what he saw.
“I just couldn’t believe it. I went in all I saw was three big lads in their 20s, covered in tattoos, and there in the middle was mum getting one herself.”
Sadie got a small tattoo of an outlined heart; later she complained that it didn't hurt as much as she had hoped.
“I asked the fella how long it would take and he said it had finished five minutes ago. I never felt a thing.”
It turns out that this cool great-grandma was planning her tattoo excursion for a while.
She had been admiring the tattoos of her son Tony and granddaughter Samantha, and decided she wanted to get one too.
Sadie was always had a rebellious streak.
Her son joked that “She’s normally very prim and proper but she does sometimes swear like a sailor behind closed doors.”Source:
