The door to his residence was said to have been forced open, only to discover his dangling body.
Police spokesman, Wole Ogodo, confirmed the incident.
Ogodo said detectives from the command had visited the scene and taken photographs of the deceased.
He said the deceased left a note instructing his wife and children not to implicate anybody over his death.
The police image maker added that the deceased noted that there was no foul play in his death, as he willingly took his life out of frustration.
He reportedly asked his family to go after some of his debtors in the neighbourhood.
