The Redeemed Christian Church of God, Province 25, Gateway Cathedral, Lagos, has called on the Federal Government to strengthen its collaboration with relevant stakeholders to tackle the various challenges, especially insecurity, confronting the country.
The pastor in charge of the church’s administration, Kunle Adegoke, made the call during a media chat in preparation for the province’s 2015 breakthrough conference holding between July 19 and 25....
He expressed the belief that President Muhammadu Buhari’s “change” slogan would achieve the desired result if he collaborated with the stakeholders.
Adegoke, who spoke on behalf of the province’s host pastor, Debo Akande, urged Nigerians to fear God and be security conscious.
“Nigerians should be diligent in whatever they do and stop cutting corners,” he said.
Adegoke, however, said the essence of the breakthrough conference, titled, “Hidden riches of secret places,” was meant to bring God’s blessings to the people.
He said, “The conference is meant to search out the hidden riches for the people. God has formula for riches. The people’s economy cannot experience a turnaround without God’s intervention.
“So, the conference, which is like the province’s convention, is specifically designed to help people dig out hidden knowledge that could turn their lives around. Prosperity does not come from abroad, but above.”
In addition, the RCCG Province 38 Headquarters said it was set to begin the 2015 edition of its annual week-long programme, themed, “Riding on prophetic wings.”
The church said in a statement that the programme would hold between July 19 and 26.
According to the church, the programme will feature various activities, including worships, prayers, deliverance sessions, praise ministrations and insightful teachings of the word of God.
