 International music star, Akon was all smiles as he met with African leaders at the launch Of West Africa Energy Leaders Group in Abidjan, Cote D’Ivoire on June 30…The Senegalese who has initiated plans to light up millions of homes in Africa -was a guest of honour as he spoke about the #AkonLightingAfrica project and his Solar Academy.
According to the vice president Osinbajo, the delegates discussed on some of the plans of West African presidents to change the energy poverty and translate the energy potential to catalyst for growth in the region.  more pics after the cut...
